The Fairview, TX, Fire Department has taken delivery of a custom pumper built by Pierce.

The Fairview, TX, Fire Department has taken delivery of a custom pumper built by Pierce. It is constructed on a Pierce Velocity cab and chassis and is powered by a Detroit Diesel DD13 505-hp engine and an Allison transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale 2,000-gpm pump, a 500-gallon tank and a Husky Foam system. Other features include Whelen warning and scene lights, a Kussmaul battery charge, a TFT monitor and a Federal Signal mechanical siren.
