Gilbert, AZ, Fire & Rescue Pick a Pair of Custom Pumpers

Gilbert, AZ, Fire & Rescue has taken delivery of twin Pierce pumpers. They are built on Pierce Quantum cabs and chassis, powered by Detroit Diesel DD13 505-hp engines and Allison transmissions. To fight fires, they have Waterous 2,000-gpm pumps, 500-gallon water tanks with 30-gallon foam cells, Hannay reels and TFT deluge guns. Other equipment includes Kussmaul battery chargers, and Whelen warning and scene lights.
