Montgomery County, MD, Fire & Rescue Put New 4x4 Pumper in Place

Montgomery County, MD, Fire & Rescue has taken delivery of a  2019 pumper built by Rosenbauer on a 4x4 Freightliner M2-106 four-door, five-occupant cab and chassis. It is powered by a Cummins 350-hp engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale QFlo Plus 125-23L single-stage pump with a 250-gpm auxiliary high-pressure pump, a Trident air primer system and a 500-gallon UPF Poly Tank III. Other features include a Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner, LED compartment lighting, a booster hose under the cab, and a Federal Signal Q2B mechanical siren.
