The Story City Fire Department has taken delivery of a custom-built Toyne pumper on a Spartan Metro Star LFD chassis.
The Spartan chassis has a Cummins 450-hp engine with a Allison EVS transmission. There is seating for seven with a 10-inch raised roof.
The pumper has a 750-gallon water tank, a Hale Qmax 1,500-gpm pump with a Foam Pro 2001 Class A foam system and a 25-gallon foam cell.
The body is bolted stainless steel construction with ROM roll-up doors and Toyne custom slide out shelves and tool boards.
