Firehouse.com Editor's Note: Reports are indicating that an eighth alarm was called during the blaze.

Seven firefighters, including one who suffered facial burns, were injured yesterday battling a seven-alarm fire in Queens.

More than 200 battled a seven-alarm fire that raged for more than 10 hours before it was brought under control early Tuesday.

Three of the injured were admitted to the local burn center, said Emily Rahimi, of the New York City Fire Department. The four others suffered minor injuries.

The department could not confirm the firefighters' current conditions.

The inferno raged inside an iron-works warehouse at 95-20 150th St. in South Jamaica for several hours into this morning. The fire was contained by 4:44am local time Tuesday, Rahimi said.

The cause of the blaze was not known yesterday.
