Fire destroyed a restaurant in Spartanburg on Tuesday.
Flames broke out at Dante's Italian restaurant at about 7:40 a.m.
Firefighters from Roebuck, Una and North Spartanburg are battling the blaze.
The restaurant is on Oak Grove Road near Westview Elementary School.
Officials said the school was never in danger but power was cut off to the area for several hours.
Duke Energy and Piedmont Natural Gas crews restored utility service once the area was determined to be out of danger.
Officials said 15 businesses in the Country Corner shopping center are also shut down because of smoke damage.
