The Jersey City Fire Department is inviting residents to attend free CPR training in a program sponsored by the American Heart Association
The Jersey City Fire Department is inviting residents to attend free CPR training in a program sponsored by the American Heart Association.

"Heroes aren't born. They are trained. Learn CPR!" is the motto of the fourth annual CPR Weekend, taking place statewide on April 3, fire officials said.

Regular fire department instructors will provide the training at the department's Training Center at 715 Summit Ave., beginning at 9 a.m. and ending around noon, fire officials said.
