1st ANNUAL BROTHERS FOR LIFE 5K & 1 MILE RUN/WALK

Brothers for Life began when two Decatur firefighters were diagnosed with cancer within days of each other. They and their families have been gravely burdened with medical bills, travel expenses, and lost wages from time away from work. Months of expensive treatments and a long road to recovery lies ahead. Brothers For Life is an organization with the sole purpose of assisting sick and injured firefighters who risk their lives every day.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
*Pre race packet pick-up and in person late registration can be done on Friday, August 20th from 10:00AM until 8:00PM at T.C. Almon Recreation Center in Point Mallard Park.
*Race day packet pickup will be from 6:00AM until 7:45AM and will also be at T.C. Almon Recreation Center just a few steps away from course start.
*5k begins at 8:00AM. 1 mile run/walk starts at 9:00AM.
*Awards ceremony will be held inside T.C. Almon at 10:00AM.
*Post race refreshments will be provided for runners by Pepsi of Decatur and Chick-fil-A.

*Certified 5k course with chip timing provided by River City Runners. Please return your chips after the race!
