George Clay Fire Co., West Conshohocken, PA, has taken delivery of a 2018 KME rescue pumper. It is built on a four-door climate-controlled cab with a raised roof, full-height rear doors and capacity for five occupants in Bostrom Firefighter seats. It is powered by a Cummins X-15 600-hp diesel engine and an Allison EVS 4000 transmission. It is equipped with a Waterous CSU 2,000-gpm, two-stage pump, a 500-gallon tank, and a Fire Research Corp. InControl 400 pressure governor. Other equipment includes a Kussmaul auto-eject battery condition, a Will-Burt Night Scan light tower, two Hannay electric reels, Paratech air bags and struts, Hurst extrication tools and a Federal Signal Q2B siren.
