    The Gary Fire Department has taken delivery of a custom-built Ferrara Fire Apparatus rescue unit.

    The Gary Fire Department has taken delivery of a Ferrara Fire Apparatus rescue unit that's built on a Cinder chassis.that holds a 102-inch wide rescue style extruded aluminum body with a 24-inch extended front bumper.

    Fire suppression components include a 1,500-gpm Waterous CSU pump with a 500-gallon water tank.

    Emergency lighting is by Whelen, scene lighting is by FireTech, and a Command light tower.
