The city of Allentown, PA, has placed a former 2015 Pierce Arrow XT model demonstrator pumper into service in 2017.

The city of Allentown, PA, has placed a former 2015 Pierce Arrow XT model demonstrator pumper into service in 2017. Assigned as Engine Co. 4, the new addition to the department has a Detroit Diesel 13 engine and an Allison 4000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Waterous 1,500-gpm pump and a 780-gallon tank. There are also three crosslay hose beds, front-end discharge, ground ladder storage in a hose bed compartment and a back-up camera.
