The Jefferson City, MO, Fire Department has taken delivery of two Rosenbauer Commander 4000 EXT rescue pumpers.

The Jefferson City, MO, Fire Department has taken delivery of two Rosenbauer Commander 4000 EXT rescue pumpers, designated as Squad 2 and 5. Details include hot-dipped galvanized frames, extruded aluminum bodies and ROM rollup doors.The apparatus, based on Commander 4000 EXT cabs and chassis, are powered by Cummins L9 engines and Allison 4000EVS transmissions. To fight fire, they are equipped with Waterous S-100 rear-mount pumps, 750-gallon water tanks with 40-gallon Class B foam cells. They are also equipped with LED scene lighting, FireCom headsets, 10,000-watt generators and Command Light towers.
