Sutphen built this custom 1,500-gpm pumper for the Summit-Ironville Fire Department in Ashland, KY.

Built on a Sutphen Monarch heavy-duty custom chassis, the rig is powered by a Cummins X12 500-hp engine, Allison Gen 5 EVS4000 transmission and a Leece Neville 420-amp alternator. 

The cab has seating for five with a 10-inch raised roof.

Fire suppression includes a  Hale XS QMAX 1,500-gpm single-stage pump, 750-gallon water tank, 20-gallon foam tank and an Elkhart foam system.

The 3/16-inch extruded aluminum body has hinged compartment doors and over 400 cubic feet of compartment space.

The rig features a 30-inch polished stainless steel bumper, Federal Q2B siren, Hannay electric cord reel, SL442D-FS Command Light, LED Roto-Ray warning light, Whelen Freedom IV (16) LED lightbar, FireTech 72-inch 12V LED brow light and a FireTech Guardian 12V LED scene light.
