The Inlet Volunteer Hose Co. took delivery of this Sutphen custom pumper with a 1,500-gallon tank.

Sutphen built this custom pumper with a 1,500-gallon tank for the Inlet Volunteer Hose Co.

The rig is built on a Sutphen Monarch heavy-duty custom chassis with a 185-inch wheelbase and a six-person, 62-inch cab with a flat roof.

Power comes from a 450-hp Cummins L9 engine, Delco-Remy 430 AMP alternator and Allison Gen 5, EVS3000 transmission. 

It is equipped with a Hale QMAX 1,500-gpm, single-stage pump, 1,500-gallon water tank an a Hale Smartfoam 2.1A foam system with a 20-gallon foam cell.

The body is constructed with 3/16-inch extruded aluminum with 193 cu. ft. of compartment space.

Features include AMDOR roll-up compartment doors, Ziamatic Quic-Lift electric ladder rack, FireTech FT-SL-15-X-FT-W telescopic lights and an 18-inch polished stainless steel bumper extension.

Emergency warning equipment includes a Federal Q2B Siren and a Whelen Freedom LED lightbar with PFH2 integrated.
