The Quincy Fire Department has taken delivery of a custom-built KME pumper built on a SSX Severe Service LDF chassis.

The Quincy Fire Department has taken delivery of a custom-built KME pumper built on a SSX Severe Service LDF chassis.

The unit is powered by a Cummins X12 500-HP engine with an Allison 4000 EVS Transmission.

The pumper features a Waterous CSU 1,500-GPM single stage pump with a UPF 750-gallon poly tank.

The pumper has a Fire Research scene light package with a HiViz Firetech 72” brow light and a Code 3 warning light package.
